Day 5: Mini-golf

Day 5: Last to arise?

Don't want to get up. Want to keep dreaming about eating and shopping.
Have heard many showers today; I'm sure I'll be the last out of bed.

Went to Duckstein yesterday and ate heaps. Would like a food treat to
look forward to today. Got such a craving for noodles. Hmm!

We're back home tomorrow. It's been an awesome relaxing trip so far :)
quite the sabbatical. I know I struggle with stress and anxiety, and
I've been making a conscious effort to manage it. No sense in letting
things get shit before trying to fix, so it's an ongoing endeavour.
This little holiday leaves me in a slightly better state. :)

One regret is not getting to skywatch much cos of wet grass and
overcast night. But there's still this evening to go - maybe it will
be right for it. See how.

Time for breakfast. Laters!

Day 3: Oh godddd my headdd

Napped & snacked away a headache today. Have had two days of extreme
being-on-holiday.

Getting hell cabin fever, despite a visit from @davioo (http://twitter.com/davioo
) and a trip to the pool. But arg, mojitos are on the way. Oh
decisions! What a difficult life.

Might go on an evening walk later.

Brewery visit tomorrow hopefully. Maybe more pool. Rarr~

It's going a bit off in here.

Day 1: a coloured pencil drawing

A heron on the wall at the holiday house. Just got the aircon going,
waiting for comfortable temperature to hit.

Newbie bought us Lego!

Newbie bought a round of christmas Lego! Here is the combined effort
of Andrew and myself.

A racecar with turret, primary gun seat, secondary gun seat, water
tank so gunners stay hydrated, and gunnery wings so the turret tower
can break away and fly. Yayyyyyy!

comic sans

Oh yeah, check out this sick comic sans on a 6.7Mb webpage.

Christmas eve eve

I was so looking forward to hanging around at work, chatting and drinking. I was so looking forward to leaving the office early to wander around town. But my goodness, today's Last Football Of The Year has left me proper rooted. Scored a goal, though. :) Bounced off my hip, rolled down my leg, hit the left post and ricocheted into the right bottom corner. I might be making up that last bit because I don't remember what actually happened while I was pumping my fists in the air. Yeahhhhhh~

Thank you, Australia Post, for not being on strike today - the last couple of gifts for friends & family have arrived. This shall be a lazy afternoon of wrapping and napping until dinner at Sizzler with my folks tonight. :)

Music should be happening in the new year. :) Excitement!! Don't know exactly when or how often, but if I'm not mistaken, our first song will debut on Hype. In the meantime, check out some stuff by the guy I'm working with - this is him and his mate at it. 'Capitalise' is my favourite from that list.

Urgh. Properly brain-dead from sport. Going to rehydrate and lie down. Layters. x

Casual friday

At the Subi

Here we are at the subi after lunch at the Buddha bar - 2.5/5, nice
decor, average food, casual service. Would go again, maybe on a cooler
and more carefree occasion.

Here comes my drink. Gtg.

Can you kick it like I kick it when I kick this

Last Thursday, on the way home from football, we saw some Asian guy
get chased down the street by some white guy with no shirt.

Today, I got a call from the police asking me to go in to give a
statement. While waiting for the proper interview room to be freed up,
the officer and I sat in the interview room they put baddies in. It
was way creepier than the one for goodies, which had soft chairs and a
box of tissues in case of emogency.

It took about an hour all up - we ran through what I saw, went over it
a couple of times and expounded on some detail. Officer typed
everything out in a formal document for me to sign.

Goodness! It's laid out so neatly! Numbered dotpoints, short line
length, tidy courier typeface, giant leading, lots of whitespace;
readability++

:))))))))

I wish webdesign were that lovely. Got given a copy of it for
reference (posterity); have tucked it in a box, next to my uni degree
that I never use and a pair of red woolly mittens from a friend I
hardly see anymore.
