Time to go
mooching about the sydney airport. Got 3 hours to spare before my flight back to perth. Had a lovely time here. I like going places and feeling like i could live there - being comfortable despite the things i could hate about it. I hear of people moving to a city, knowing they'll love every bit of it, only to turn tail when the reality of everyday lifestyle sets in. I'm sacred to have that be my story too. I don't imagine being cynical would stave that off, but acknowledging the contrasts within a single place is a start. Though not having spent enough time here to make a fair call, i can't help but notice a still enjoyable feeling after my weekend made up of stuff to do and nothing going on. Off to mill about for a bit. Will chat more at the next snack break perhaps. :)

Frickin tired
I've written and seen sydney so many bloody times now, the word is starting to look funny. Caught the ferry to town today for an afternoon of explorative capitalism. Managed at the very last minute to buy a pair of little boots, so i don't fail at shopping after all. So Frickin tired. Had an awesome roast for dinner and a pantload of wine; my teeth now feel strange but my head so fruity. We're headed to newtown tomorrow for more shopping and more looking around. Keen :)

Whitewater
Went to a fine-dining-but-not-wanky restaurant in manly this evening. Wish i had brought my phone into the loo, cos the light fittings were clever and interesting to look at. If you're ever there, have a peek and re for yourself. :) Got taken on a lovely drive round northhead and manly earlier in the day and it was neat to see the good friday nightlife in the area. Drowsy now though. Bedtime perhaps. Excited about city and shopping tomorrow. :-D night!

Holiday cat
This is casper, a lovely siamese. I've never fancied siamese before but this one is quite charming. Feels like ages since the last holiday although dunsborough was just 3 weeks ago. Guess a lot happens it 3 weeks, like packing and shifting and running around. Makes it feel like lots of time has passed. Hope to squeeze a lot of fun and relax into this trip. And some interesting posting too. :) night night for now!
